This is my earliest Rochester Optical Co. catalog (dated Jan. 1, 1885 on the title page), with no English-style designs, and only six view camera designs altogether: New Model, New Model Improved, Stereoscopic New Model, Commodore, Ideal and the monorail American Challenge. The first four models mentioned are very similar, leaving one to wonder why they bothered.
