Century Camera Co.

Field View Cameras

Century Camera Co., Rochester, NY (1900)
Century Camera Div., EKC (1907)
Folmer-Century  Div., EKC

Century opened its doors in 1900, which explains its name.  In 1903, George Eastman bought a controlling interest.  In 1905, the company acquired the Rochester Panoramic Co., which made the popular Circuit camera (not covered here).  In 1907 the company began its long and inevitable absorption into EKC, eventually only existing through the camera names it coined.

Scans of number of catalogs can be found here.  Scans of Century catalogs are here.
