Photographic Apparatus, Rochester Optical Co., (Rochester, NY), 1899, ~6"x9", 56pp

This is a catalog from the last year of the first Rochester Optical Co. (1883-1899), being part of the 5 companies that merged to become Rochester Optical & Camera Co. in 1899.  It contains the usual R.O.C. line of view cameras so does not yet reflect the merger.  It does not contain any of their popular Premo line, because they also published a catalog devoted to only the Premo Camera.  In 1903, a controlling interest in the struggling Rochester Optical & Camera Co. was obtained by the Eastman Kodak Co., and its name was changed back to the Rochester Optical Co.
