rails); double swing;
Materials: ebonized (black painted) mahogany body;
ebonized cherry base; nickeled brass hardware;
Sizes Offered: 5x7; 6½x8½; 8x10; 11x14
Notes: This model is not present in Gennert Catalog #57 (1906-7);
thus the range of dates. It is identical
to the Seneca View Camera, Improved (ebonized version).
Starting about 1903, Gennert re-sold the Seneca Improved View and the Seneca
Competitor (as the New York View). About 1908, they also re-sold the
Gundlach Wizard View, Variation 2. It is not known whether such cameras bear a Gennert
label.
