Amateur's Manual of Photography, S. & S. Manual Library No. 6, Street & Smith publishers (New York, NY), dated June 15, 1890, ~4 ½"x7", 64pp

One of a number of pocket-sized instructive serials of the 1890's, this soft-bound booklet does not contain camera ads or other information about camera models.  There are engravings of a general, rear focus, solid front camera of the era (e.g., Scovill Waterbury) on pages 8-13.  Much more interesting are the titles of dime novels on pages 2, 51-58, and don't forget the detailed description of the book Women's Secrets on the inside back cover.
